In addition to being our general manager Ben is an Orvis Endorsed Guide for 5 years with 16 years experience fishing and guiding fly fishing trips in the scenic Pocono Mountains and Northwest New Jersey.  Bens fly fishing roots started 20 years ago on Spring Creek, in central, PA.  His experience fly fishing on the wild trout fisheries of Spring Creek, Fishing Creek, and Penn's Creek afford him the opportunity to provide our clients with two day trips to central, PA while enjoying the comfort of well appointed, fisherman oriented, bed and breakfasts.  When Ben is not on the stream guiding or managing The Rod and Gun Club he can often be found sharing his knowledge of Fly fishing and stream ecosystems at fly fishing shows,  our Fly fishing schools and at Trout Unlimited meetings.  Ben is a first rate tier and casting instructor.  Many of his original patterns such as the Messy minnow, Turpin´s GPS Stonefly, and the CDC Caddis  can be found in the Orvis catalog.  During the fall Ben can often be found afield with his Brittany's guiding our clients and members for pheasants and other upland birds.

Adam is the newest addition to our guiding staff.  Adam has been fly fishing and tying for 20 years and has 5 years experience guiding fly fishing trips in the Poconos and Striped Bass in the waters of Cape Cod.  Adam's fly fishing roots are firmly planted in the waters of bucks county and the Lehigh Valley where he spent his time chasing Small mouth, Striped bass and Trout on the Delaware, Little Lehigh, Perkiomen creek and many others.  Adam has and extensive back ground in fisheries holding degrees in Biology and Marine Science, as well as 3 years experience running hatcheries and working for the State of NJ's Division of Fish and Wildlife as a Fishing Education Tech.  The addition of Adam to our staff has allowed The Rod and Gun Club to offer our cliental two day trips to NY's salmon, brown  trout and steelhead fishery of Lake Ontario where you can use traditional fly fishing methods to pursue these fish.  When Adam is not guiding fly fishing on local Pocono streams he can often be found behind the oars of one of our two drift boats guiding fly anglers on the Lehigh River.

On any given day you can find Jake assisting our coarse manger in creating and maintaining the challenging shots on our 15 station sporting clays coarse. In addition to his responsibilities in maintaining the sporting clays course, Jake can be found  teaching introduction to shot gunning lessons, pulling trap or working the five stand.  Jake is an avid Turkey and Whitetail hunter and has been hunting the area surrounding the The Rod and Gun Club for the last nine years.  The addition of Jake has allowed The Rod and Gun Club to provide it's membership with years of local knowledge and experience in the hunting, locating and tracking of the game found on our 3000 acre property.

nscaJeff is an NSCA certified  shooting instructor.  Jeff’s avocation to shooting began twenty five years ago hunting small game on his grandfathers farm in Upstate New York, which he hunts to this day.  Jeff is available every Saturday for lessons and clinics; and Sundays by appointment. 
If Jeff is not instructing or shooting the course, you will find him competing at the various major shoots in the Northeast.
